If House Bill 2427 isn't stopped, it will spawn a big government scheme that gives Tennessee bureaucrats power to manage, oversee, and control the purchase, sale, storage, and use of gold and silver by Tennessee citizens.

Utah's governor vetoed a similar bill last year, calling it "operationally impracticable" while flagging conflicts of interest from self-interested vendor(s) who proposed the public-private partnership scheme in the first place.
